Hunter Gee Holroyd named as Independent Firm of the Year

Hunter Gee Holroyd are delighted to announce that they have been named as Independent Firm of the Year at the 2022 Yorkshire Accountancy Awards. It is the second year running the firm has won Independent Firm of the Year across the whole of the region.

The awards, which took place at New Dock Hall in Leeds on the 5 May 2022. They celebrate the achievements and successes of the region’s best and brightest accountancy firms. All accountancy firms are represented, from small local businesses all the way up to national firms.

For the Independent Firm of the Year category, firms must be able to demonstrate appreciation or recognition by clients, client initiatives that set the firm apart from the rest, contribution to the business community and recognition received from other firms.

Judges at the awards said that:

The firm, which has offices in York, Easingwold and Filey, have over 90 years of experience in looking after a range of owner-managed and family-owned businesses from small start-ups to medium size companies. They recently strengthened their practice with new appointments, bringing a range of skills and experience to the team and continue to invest in regional talent.
